The Redmi 3 is a budget phone and it is cheap too but the smartphone doesn’t compromises with the features. It come with large 5 inch display with the resolution of 1280*720.It features the Qualcomm MSM8939v2 Snapdragon 616 chipset with 2 GB RAM, Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor,Non-removable Li-Ion 4100 mAh battery, Its Rear Camera is 13MP shooter with autofocus and 5MP in Front,It has 16GB Rom and Expandable upto 128GB with microSD and comes withe The latest MIUI 7 which is based on Android Lollipop 5.1.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3 display is a 5″ HD IPS – 0.3″ bigger than the one on the Redmi 2/Prime. There is slightly lower pixel density of 294ppi as resolution is the same and on the larger screen. But That’s still a good Retina-grade display, and it is still more than enough for crisp images and sharp text. The Redmi 3 has a relatively high maximum brightness of 520nits. At the lowest level, the screen is also spectacularly dim as well – 1.2nits.
The display performs well in the sunlight,Though the glass on top of the display is reflective, but you will have no problem regarding seeing what’s happening on the screen.
The xiaomi Redmi 3 comes with three variants Gold ,Silver and Grey. The new Xiaomi Redmi 3 is a different from the previous Redmi phones and it shows new beginning for the series. There is a noticeable change in the familiar design with a new silver accent around the front, rounded edges and metal instead of glossy plastic. Xiaomi didn’t want to loose all signature elements, though – you can notice the long loudspeaker grille at the back plus the iconic Mi logo.
The new metal design makes the device more beautiful, which is far better than the plastic.Xiaomi Redmi 3’s aluminum back provides for enough grip, better than any glossy plastic, but a notch lesser than what a matte material would have secured.
On top of the Redmi 3 we find the audio jack, the second mic, and the IR blaster. On the bottom is the primary mic and the microUSB port. The right side is where the volume rocker and the power/lock key are placed. The left side houses the ejectable bed, which can either take two SIM cards or one SIM and a microSD card.Below the screen, we find the traditional capacitive control deck – Task switcher, Home, and Back keys. Those three come with white backlight.
Redmi 3 features a 13MP camera in rear an 5MP on front. It is equipped with a standard single LED flash. The snapper also features a hybrid autofocus system utilizing phase-detection for faster and more accurate focus…
The Rear camera captures the photos very quickly. The white balance and lively color rendition is accurate . The dynamic range turned out average, but sometimes it managed to surprises by capturing a lot of detail in the shadows without turning the HDR mode on.
The Front-facing 5MP camera is best for high-res selfies, Their contrast turned out good, as were the colors and the dynamic range.
